Do Your Clients Understand WHY They Need to ADAPT?
Have you ever had a client who needed to make some changes, but they just didn't "get it"? Sometimes relating a story can help them understand why adjustments are needed when their house is on the market.
This month we'll take a look at how you might provide your client with information about why updates such as enhancement can help them get their house sold.

You're invited to a cocktail party hosted by the boss. You're up for promotion, so it's essential to make a good impression. It's 15 minutes before you have to go, and you are standing in front of the closet wondering what on earth to wear.

A room that is overdressed often makes it just as hard for buyers to relate to the room as one that is under decorated.
| |
You know you can't leave with what you have on since it's just what you "wear around the house". But if you dress up in your best suit and everyone else is casual, you'll feel out of place and uncomfortable. Yet if you wear jeans and everyone else is dressed to the nines, it'll be just as bad.
What should you do?

| |
If you're like me, you have one of those outfits that is sort of half way in between. You know, slacks that could pass either way, take the tie off or add more jewelry to dress it up or down. That way, no matter what, you can feel comfortably dressed and appropriate.
| |
Have you thought about how your house is dressed for potential buyers? It's just as important for buyers to feel comfortable with your house! And since you don't know whether they are a jeans or suit kind of crowd, your best bet is to aim somewhere in the middle. Not too casual, but not so overdressed that the buyer can't relate.
| |
So it may not be what you'd wear for everyday living. Just like your house may have to dress a little differently once it goes on the market. Don't leave it in what it always "wore around the house". A little extra effort can go a long way in helping make a better impression on potential buyers.

It's not about your taste and style, it's all about presenting the room to the buyer. Help them feel comfortable in the space, and notice the features that are important to them.

Enhancement helps you pull together that right look for your rooms to show them off at their best.
